Frequently Asked Questions

faqs

1) Are you really available 24/7 for emergencies?

Yes—call us any time. We provide 24/7 emergency plumbing across Adelaide and prioritise urgent jobs.

2) Will I know the cost before you start?

Absolutely. After diagnosis, we give a transparent, upfront quote before any work begins—no hidden fees.

3) Are you licensed—and do I get a Certificate of Compliance?

Yes. We’re licensed and insured, and in SA a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) is mandatory for most plumbing work. We issue and lodge the electronic CoC (eCoC) after your job.

4) There’s water leaking at or near my water meter—who fixes it?

If the leak is between the main and the meter, that’s SA Water’s responsibility. Leaks after the meter/on your property are usually the owner’s job—call us and we’ll help pinpoint it. You can also report meter issues directly to SA Water.

5) Do you service my suburb?

Yes—Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. When you book, just enter your suburb and we’ll schedule the next available time.

6) Will you check for underground services before any digging?

Yes. We lodge a Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) enquiry for site plans and physically confirm asset locations prior to excavation to keep your property safe.

7) When you replace a hot water system, do you set a safe bathroom temperature?

Yes. SA follows the Plumbing Code of Australia, which limits hot water delivery to bathrooms to about 50 °C using a tempering device (e.g., tempering valve/TMV). We assess and fit what’s required.
